Newark Stuff
I grew up in Newark, N.J. and thought it was Shangri-La, up to a point.  On these pages you'll find photos and information about the city, especially the Roseville section, including my alma mater
St. Rose of Lima School.

If you're from Roseville or anywhere
in Newark, you're welcome at the
Bodholt's Diner message board.

Here's the Bodholt's Diner Members List.

The Roseville Scrapbook contains photos
you've sent in illustrating the old neighborhood
and its people.

Peruse some photos of Downtown.

Check out some old maps of Roseville.

And here are some detail images from
1901 and 1911 Newark atlases featuring Roseville.

Revisit the old Roseville Railroad Station.

Walk down Historic Orange Street.

A detour down historic Bathgate Place.

Remember Orange Street in 1961?
We do, thanks to the priceless photos from the Newark Public Library's Berg Collection.

Take my bittersweet 2002 Roseville Tour.

Who has the better Italian hot dog -- Jimmy Buff's or Dickie Dee's?  We undertook a most scientific quest to find out.  The results are in!

My brief history of Newark subways.

And a list of some Newark Links.
