Peggy
(Harris) Bell sends
in these postcards dispatched by our Joe Bilby in '66 during his tour
of duty in the U.S. Army.
She writes: "These
are some 'lost early writings' of Joe Bilby! Joe,
I'll bet you never thought you'd see these again. (I actually forgot
about the Hawaiian one myself until recently.)" Says he:
"Ah my lovely all-expenses-paid tour courtesy Uncle Sam? A
never-to-be-forgotten experience.
After
reading that second card, from Bangkok, I distinctly remember sending
it."
